Sooo Idk WHAT it is; but twitter tends to get the MOST unnecessary on political nights. Let me get into this foolishness:
A) This RIDICULOUS notion that anyone who is black and doesnt vote Obama “doesnt understand the struggle”… What damn struggle? There’s NO struggle worth me voting a do nothing president BACK into power. Period. He’s black; he made history; yipeee; can we actually FIX the dang country now? I’m not “too ignorant to understand historical importance”; I’m too dang intelligent to vote on something as flimsy as race. I dont vote for the progression of ONE race. For where I stand; I’m mixed and so is Obama. I’m not one race; he’s not one race; thus race relations are a mute point. I vote for country progress. Last I checked; it was African-AMERICAN. Check that last word for me; make sure you get the point.
B) #OOMF said (and I quote) “I cannot vote for Newt Gingrich because he looks like he’s gonna drop dead” -___________-. Now, I can give you 500 EDUCATED reasons not to vote for Gingrich. (He’s racist; his actions during his marriages are immoral; he wants to abolish child labor laws; he refuses to fix education; etc)… But his LOOKS?! How STUPID are you? Looking good does not fix the economy, help education, improve foreign relations OR save the environment. Go read a book; you simpleton.
C) I would like to point out that HALF of the people trash talking the Republican Party tonight are on HUSH mode during all of their debates, caucuses AND Primaries. Ya know why? BECAUSE THEY DON’T FOLLOW THEM. How can you be so AGAINST candidates that you don’t even KNOW?! Obama is so much better because……………………. Oh wait; you don’t know why he’s better because you don’t know why the other candidates are bad. Educate yourself or stfu.
D) A free bit of Education: Everyone complains because “Republicans wanna tax the poor”…. Individuals DO realize that in order for HALF of Obama’s plans to work you have to raise taxes right??? Do you really think free healthcare is free? I’m all for free healtcare but I’m NOT for the idiots who think they can pull it off without raising taxes. Greece tried that; and tanked half the European economy. If he wants to follow the Dutch system for healthcare (which he does); he needs to implement Dutch taxes or the country will collapse. Don’t believe me? Read up on Greece.
